Poker Nutz by Curtis E Williams

This is designed to help out players who want to do well in large tournaments, known as Multi-Table Tournaments. It tells you all you need to know to cash in poker tournaments regularly and it has some really original advice which I had never heard before.

You also get some great online video footage of players like Doyle Brunson and Mike Caro giving online courses.

As well as this you also get some audio lectures which are a great way to learn as sometimes you can skip passages in an ebook and this is a great way to learn.

You get a hell of a lot in this package and I can recommend it to anyone no matter what your level. I consider myself quite well educated in poker, after reading a lot of books, but I definitly learnt something from the Poker Nutz.

MIT Holdem Poker Count System by Ray Seakan

Ray Seakan studied at the brilliant Massechussets Institute of Technology, which as well as being accepted as the best science college in the world is also famous for it's students constantly finding ways to beat various gambling games.

Ray himself admits that he used to count Blackjack cards in Vegas, and after this got him barred from many casinos he switched his attention to Poker.

After many years of playing, and like most mathematical geniuses, winning pots of money, he has written this book detailing his system to win big as much as possible.

This is one of the better books out there due it's explanations which make complex odds systems seem very easy.

Ray also includes some great hand quizzes to sharpen up your skills and practice your drills. ( nice rhyme!)

Texas Hold'Em Secrets: Exposed by PD McCaughlin

This is a great book just for the sheer amount of info you get. PD MCCaughlin really knows his stuff and approaches the game firstly from a mathematical point of view. If this is a weak point to your game he has some easy systems that will have you playing like a pro in hours.

The book itself is full of info, but then you get a great package free with the book as well. In total you get 4 free gifts with lots more tips and tricks to help you make more out of poker.

Another plus about this book is that it has some really useful advice for live games, including spotting others tells while hiding your own giveaways.

We would recommend this book to beginners who play at low to medium stake cash/ring games.
